Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest

This FREE Community Event is for kids ages 8-13. This free throw contest is sponsored by the Kalispell Elks Lodge. Registration and practice shots begin at 9:30 competition starts at 10:00. Kids will register and compete in one of the following age groups all based off their age as of April 1st, 2025 (National Competition held in April): Girls 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 Boys 8-9, 10-11, 12-13. The 8-9 age group will have a free throw line 4' closer to the basket if they choose to use it. trophies will be handed out the day of the Hoop shoot for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age group (18 total). The top winner from each ager group (6 total) will move on to the district competition in Polson in January to represent Flathead Valley. Winners can then advance to the State, Regional and National competitions with all travel expenses paid by the Elks. Montana has had National competitors and winners every year for years!
